Great News! I have been waiting for a while to announce that after months of hard work, the pilot I was cast in March 2015 has been bought by CBS for 12 episodes (1 season) for 2016. George Lopez who is a comedian renown for the ABC comedy “George Lopez” and with whom I participated in the movie “Spare Parts” will have his own show again in 2016 and I will have a recurrent role (Eduardo) in it. Eduardo is a waiter in a restaurant in the San Fernando Valley “Carrillo’s” to where George Lopez goes when he is feeling the pressures of his life in Hollywood. Eduardo is one of his “homies” whom treats George as just another friend from the barrio – along with Manolo (Anthony Citric Campos). John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky will write and executive produce the series while Michael Rotenberg of 3 Arts Entertainment and Troy Miller will also executive produce and direct. The series will be based on the struggles of George as he tries to balance the working-class Latino sphere from which he came and the celebrity lifestyle which he currently has. I invite you to watch the show and I will keep you posted on any new developments. In the meantime, here’s the trailer/teaser for the first episode. Enjoy!
